Kastrup, founder of the Danish design and audio company Lemus, embarked on a mission to create the best active speaker ever made, in collaboration with Denmark’s leading sound engineers. Our goal was clear: to deliver not just the best-sounding active speaker, but also a stunning design masterpiece – designed, developed, and produced in Denmark.

Powerful Amplification and Intelligent DSP
At the heart of the KASTRUP SORA 800 lies a 4-channel amplification system, delivering a robust 600W of total power (150W RMS Tweeter, 450W RMS BASS).
BASS Driver is a custom Tripple voice coil version of the 8” Purifi PTT8.0X04-NAB-05.
USHINDI - The Pinnacle of Transducer Technology
Introducing USHINDI, a breakthrough in transducer technology born from an extensive research and development effort aimed at eliminating all sources of distortion. This innovative approach sets a new benchmark in audio performance, delivering the purest and most transparent sound. USHINDI technology addresses the challenge of extended-stroke performance, allowing small-cone drivers to surpass the performance of larger, short-stroke counterparts, achieving superior sound quality even in compact designs.

Ultra Low Harmonic Distortion (HD): The USHINDI drivers achieve remarkably low harmonic distortion, frequently 60dB or more below the signal level, resulting in an audio system that maintains its purity and transparency even under demanding conditions. Unlike traditional drivers that can introduce coloration or alterations to the music, USHINDI ensures an unadulterated listening experience.
Ultra Low Intermodulation Distortion (IMD): PURIFI PureDrive and NeutralSurround technologies reduce IMD by more than 10x compared to competing drivers, ensuring that delicate midrange details remain intact even when combined with powerful low-frequency tones. Constant Force Factor vs. Voice Coil Position (Bl(x)): The PureDrive motor system maintains a stable force factor across the voice coil's entire range of motion, eliminating amplitude modulation and ensuring a crystal-clear midrange. This results in a pure, undistorted sound, even at high SPLs.
Constant Inductance vs. Voice Coil Position (Lgen(x)): USHINDI technology achieves near-perfect inductance stability, minimizing the modulation of current and reducing IMD for a more accurate and detailed sound reproduction.
Ultra Low Current Distortion: By reducing Magnetic Hysteresis Distortion (MRD) to unprecedented levels, the USHINDI drivers deliver an exceptionally clean and grain-free sonic response, characterized by a deep black background and exquisite detail retrieval.
